This recipe is for my brother, Giuliani, who absolutely loves this dish! “Giuliani’s Stromboli” is why this is named after him!

Don’t know what to make for dinner? Want to try something different? Are you feeling like you want an “Italian Style” meal? Well, I am going to teach you all how to make a spinach & prosciutto stromboli! It sounds difficult, but is super easy! And since I know making the dough is probably a process for some, I will give you the simple and easy way to do this!

Ingredients:

(1) 1 Box of Spinach (you can use frozen, but you have to let it defrost first).

(2) Cheese (mozzarella, genuino, etc are fine). I like genuino, but you can use whatever you’d like!

(3) Prosciutto (cubed and cut into small chunks)

(4) Garlic

(5) Tomatoes

Extra Good Crab Cakes

Ingredients

Original recipe makes 4 crab cakes
  • 8 saltine crackers, finely crushed
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 pound fresh crab meat, well drained
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. Mix saltine crackers, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, seafood seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt, and cayenne pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in crab meat until mixture is combined but still chunky. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on a plate.
  4. Shape chilled crab mixture into 4 small thick patties; coat completely with bread crumbs.
  5. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-heat; cook crab cakes until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
